What do I wear?
We want to see your knees. Please wear loose pants, skirt, or shorts.
Cancellation Policy?
We know life happens. Please respect our 24hr cancellation policy. This includes changing your treatment, moving your appointment, or rescheduling. We kindly ask that you call during business hours to make the appropriate changes and speak to a Sanctuary Receptionist. Cancellations are not accepted via voicemail, email or social media. No shows will be charged full price.
How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can be made by request through Booking on our website, by phone 518-888-2825 or by e-mail to relax@adkfootsanctuary.com. Email inquiries will be answered within a 24 hour period. We highly encourage you to book online.
Will I receive a confirmation prior to my appointment?
Yes, upon booking you will receive confirmation of your appointment details. You will receive a request to confirm again 2 days prior to your appointment, as well as a reminder 15-minutes prior to your appointment. We may also call to confirm appointments by phone if we notice you have not confirmed your appointment by the day before your appointment. We will ask for your best phone number and e-mail at the time of booking and will use this information to confirm and remind you of your appointment.
Cell Phone policy?
We have a very Zen environment. To ensure our ambiance, we ask that you use quiet voices. Cell phones (unless an emergency) are not encouraged during your session to respect others receiving treatments.
What should I know when I’m with my practitioner?
Your practitioner will check in with you with clear communication about your treatment/s, water temperature, + treatment pressure. Beside your online intake form, they will do a short verbal intake before your treatment. As a client, please let your practitioner know of your needs during your session. We will accommodate you as best we can!
Hours of Operation?
We are open 7 days a week. Please check our webpage during the changing Seasons. Peak Season our hours will be longer + off season our hours will be shorter.
Do you serve food or beverage during treatments?
Currently there is not a Cork Fee/Lake Placid location only ($25)
We do have our Sip + Soak with Bocage Champagne Bar as our Featured Add-On, just ask!! Cheers!
Our cork fee is only at our Lake Placid location. Please call the Sanctuary reception at Lake Placid for details at 518-523-8983.
Can you accommodate those who are pregnant?
Yes, however there are limitations on the services we can provide depending on how far along you are. If you are expecting, please notify the receptionist at time of booking.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to your session, we are not able to accommodate early appointments due to the nature of our intimate and cozy space. We do not have a waiting area. Please know our massage therapist needs quiet time to prepare in-between sessions and time with clients scheduled. Allow driving and parking times during peak season and events. Our Saratoga sanctuary is located in the heart of beautiful downtown Saratoga Springs, NY.
Do you carry the products you use in your treatments for purchase?
Yes in Lake Placid! Our sweet space in Saratoga does not. We can mail any product to you, just ask or the next time you are in, you can pick it up! We will be creating our online store SOON! After your treatment, enjoy a variety of thoughtfully chosen products for your continued healing and well-being found in our Wellness On Line Boutique.
Are walk-in appointments accepted?
If you see our door open in the nicer weather, or our WELCOME sign hanging from our door knob, our therapist will be there to greet you + help coordinate your booking. At this time, the best way to book is online or by phone.
Can I tip on a card?
No, currently we only accept tip via cash and or Venmo.
